Goodbye Model 3. Hello Model S!

Goodbye Model 3. Hello Model S!

The California Camry illness is spreading thru the country. While it is great for $TSLA, I do not like getting confused in parking lots about which car is mine. Made sense to upgrade to the Model S platform, even though it is not as refined as Model 3 Platform.

I will take the free FSD that Tesla gave to all cars in their used inventory. That was one thing I skipped out on my Model 3 (if I had FSD would’ve kept it).

Used deals were good enough that my roommate was convinced and got a Model 3 LR with all the whistles (Accleration Boost, FSD, whatever else is there).

Fitting both cars back to back in a single door, long garage has been fun. Real life Jenga with almost six figures in cars is not stressful at all!

AirPods Max - Disappointment

AirPods Max - Disappointment

While everyone complained about being home in the pandemic, some people took matters into their hands and spent their time being productive. I would say I am one of those people.

Took the situation and made it as productive as possible. Classes, Investing, Learning, whatever I could. Hoped to make more posts here but frankly had my mind floating elsewhere.

Ending the year was an exciting product. I am an audiophile and was excited to see what AirPods Max could deliver.

Disappointment

They sound great, but are too heavy. I will stick to AirPods Pro for now.

Apple had a shot at killing the QC35 market and audiophile market in one shot, but did not happen unfortunately. Return policy wins in this case.

Apple Park - Spaceship

Apple Park - Spaceship

What a better way to end the busy winter academic term than a trip to SF and Bay Area!

  • Killer AirBNB? ✅
  • Model 3 Rental? ✅
  • Tours around FANG? ✅
  • Tesla Factory Tour? ✅

While the FANG offices were awesome, Apple Park stood out to me. The building is a spaceship. The visitor center was simple yet filled with sophistication.

One of my favorite shots was the Hermes display. Apple just knows killer design and simplicity. Also knows how to lock you into an ecosystem so they can become worth trillions (soon?).

Clifford's New Friend

Clifford's New Friend

In front of Lakeside (my dorm), there would always be two Model 3s. One being mine (red), and another being a mystery. Finally met the mystery guy and found out he loves long drives too.

Took out both of them into the Indiana countryside for some nice pictures. This was our favorite shot.

Driving thru rural Indiana with two Teslas got us a lot of looks. We had to explain to some people that these cars were Made in America, which made them proud!

Clifford's New Wheels

Clifford's New Wheels

Found a set of 19 inch wheels that were brand new nearby. What a difference in the look.

Maybe I should lower the car to fill the wheel well gap?
